| The study examine the drug release mechanism of famotidine chitosan microcapsule. The results show that the drug release process of the microcapsule is combinations of several stages, which is the break through effect of drug, the hydrolysis of iminobond, the hydroscopic expansion of chitosan and the drug diffusion through bondline. |
