      在鹌鹑动脉粥样硬化(AS)模型中,动态地观察了盐藻β-胡萝卜素(β-C)对实验性AS的预防作用。结果表明,由盐泽杜氏藻中提取的以顺式结构为主的β-胡萝卜素,虽然未能改变血清YC的进行性升高,但给药组(Ⅳ,Ⅴ,Ⅵ,Ⅶ)能轻度降低2w末血清TC、(LDL+VLDL)-C的水平,提高HDL-C/TC比值(P<0.05)。此外,还能有效地抑制血清和动脉壁丙二醛(MDA)的生成,且存在剂量依赖关系。实验8w末,给药组(Ⅳ,Ⅴ,Ⅵ)动物动脉壁TC、胆固醇酯(CE)含量较高脂对照组明显降低(P<0.05),提示:β-C通过消除超氧自由基,降低过氧化指质,减少TC特别是CE在鹌鹑动脉壁的沉积而阻抑AS的形成。
English Summary:
      Beta-carotene (B-C) was isolated from Dunaliella salina and mainly composed of cis-isomer beta-carotene. In the experimintal atherosclerosis models,the preventive action of B-C was observed dynamically. The results showed that the treated groups ( IV , V , VI , VI ) could only decrease elevation of serum TC and (LDL + VLDD-C and increase the ratio of HDL-C/TC(P<0. 05) on the second weekend. In addition, B-C might effectively reduce the content of serum and arterial wall MDA and have a dose -effect dependent relationship. Treated groups (IV , V , VI ) could inhibit the diposition of cholesterol and its ester in the arterial wall (P<0. 05). It suggested that B-C might play an important role in preventing the development of atherosclerosis through scavenging the lipoperoxidation caused by free radicals.
